About 'Bronze snake cup by Ferdinand Barbedienne'

Bronze snake cup by Ferdinand Barbedienne, late 19th century, signed on the base and bottom. One hose wraps around the base and another is coiled in the center of the cup. In perfect condition with a very nice patina.
Weight 800 grams.

Ferdinand Barbedienne (6 August 1810[1] – 21 March 1892) was a French metalworker and manufacturer, who was well known as a bronze founder.
